Lin & Associates, a consulting engineering firm located in downtown Seattle with over 30 years in business, is looking for a full-time Proposal Administrator to assist with proposal creation and provide project coordination in our office. This position will be located in our downtown Seattle office. The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical writer with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Because we are a small firm, much of this work will be self-directed and self-motivated. This opportunity is great for someone who is interested in redefining or redeveloping current strategies and materials to optimize proposal production. This position requires a significant amount of creativity, research, communication, innovation, and resourcefulness.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Produce engaging and accurate promotional content within required time-frames
- Proofread proposals and source documents to ensure accuracy, quality writing, and clear focus
- Manage correspondence and submittals during the proposal process
- Create compelling designs and layouts for marketing and proposal materials
- Understand and communicate technical concepts and terminology accurately to an uninitiated audience
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with decorum to a wide range of professionals both internal and external to the organization
- Provide administrative support as needed, which includes file management, project correspondence, fee and scope submittals, and various other duties. As a small business, it is essential that our staff picks up tasks as needed and are team players
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2-4 years of proposal writing for a professional services firm required and a background in an Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry preferred
- A mastery of punctuation, mechanics, grammar, word usage, and syntax
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required
- Proficiency in PDF manager (Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam) required
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Communication, or related field or discipline preferred
- Willingness to assume additional office responsibilities as needed
