F&A’s combination of experienced personnel, strict quality standards and strong leadership are the reasons why many clients have continued their long-standing professional relationship with the company. Their satisfaction is demonstrated by their use of F&A as a quality assurance / quality control consultant and the fact that F&A’s top five clients generate 80% of our work by value. F&A supplemented its land surveying capabilities by using GPS equipment and currently has 2 GPS systems available for use. The WSRN is a state-wide network of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) and provides the ability to perform state-of-the-art, centimeter-level real time surveys almost anywhere in the state of Washington and southerly portions of British Columbia (being limited by cell phone reception availability). F&A is also well versed and exceptional in performing LIDAR laser scanning to supplement the four robotic total stations on various survey assignments. Our ability to perform rapid and cost-efficient surveys where accuracy is secondary was also recently enhanced by the addition of a video capable drone that allows full HD video capture for 3D modeling, visualizations, and photogrammetric mapping. Recent representative projects on which F&A has provided quality land surveying services include: Sound Transit LINK Light Rail (Lynnwood Link, Federal Way Link, North Link, East Link, South Link and Central Link), Seattle DOT First Hill Street Car, and Seattle DOT Lander Street, Seattle DOT Yesler Bridge, King County Georgetown CSO, King County Foothills Trail, City of Renton Cedar River, and Washington DOT Freighthouse Square.
